2014 Summer Seminar Directorship proposals due
The Obermann Summer Seminar is an opportunity to lead a major collaborative project that will result in some form of publication or public work. The director(s) of the seminar must be a University of Iowa faculty member or full-time research staff. The seminar can include approximately a dozen participants. While most will be visiting scholars and researchers, faculty and research staff from The University of Iowa can also participate. The outcome should make a significant contribution to the fields of the participants, whether as a print or digital publication or in another form that promises real impact. Participants meet for a one- to three-week period of sustained interaction at the Obermann Center, usually between June 1 and July 30. We will make one award of up to $40,000.
