ISCAL, a signature program of the Confucius Institute, is a referred biennial international symposium representing state of the art L2 Chinese empirical studies in the field that are meaningful in topics, theory guided, vigorous in research design, and significant in pedagogical implications. Each ISCAL has 24 presentations and about 55 persons around the world in attendance.
