A Conversation with South African Performance Artist Tony Miyambo
UI students interested in postcolonial and performance studies are invited to a conversation with Tony Miyambo, South African performance artist on February 27, 2019.
Miyambo is a well-known South African performer with an extensive theater background and a BA in Dramatic Arts from Wits University. He is best known for his solo performance, Kafka’s Ape, an adaptation of Franz Kafka’s “A Report to an Academy” about a primate’s struggle to overcome the confines of captivity.
