Information Session for Potential Partners - Energy Cultures in the Age of the Anthropocene
The Obermann Center will host two informational meetings for community and campus organizations that may be interested in organizing an event linked to the March 2015 Obermann Humanities Symposium, "Energy Cultures in the Age of the Anthropocene."
The symposium, directed by Tyler Priest (History, CLAS), Barbara Eckstein (English, CLAS), and Bradley Cramer (Earth & Environmental Sciences, CLAS) is intended to bring together public figures, scholars, and artists to make sense of humans' relationship to energy. Organizers think of the symposium as an opportunity to collect and curate some of the best ideas for dealing with the large-scale human alterations of environments and ecosystems that have given a new name to the age in which we live: the Anthropocene.
If your organization would like to attend one of two informational sessions - March 3 and March 12 - both at 3 pm at the Obermann Center - contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
