David Hicks (Artist, Los Angeles), King Houndekpinkou (Artist, France), Virginia Leonard (Artist, New Zealand), and Glenn Barkely (Curator and Artist, Australia) will demonstrate their technical practices in the creation of unique abstract ceramic sculptures in a public forum in the UI Visual Arts Building. Following the demonstrations, Mindy Solomon (Gallerist and Curator, Miami) and Glenn Barkley (Curator and Artist, Australia) will join the group to participate in a panel discussion with the artists about diverse strategies, thematic currents, and international trends in gallery and museum presentation and the field of Ceramic Arts.
