Kathy Lavezzo

Kathy Lavezzo is a literary critic whose current research offers a cultural geographic approach to interpreting images of “the Jew” in medieval and early modern English literature. While she was at the Obermann Centerin Fall 2015, Kathy completed final revisions on her book, The Accommodated Jew: A Literary History of Antisemitism from Bede to Milton, which will be published by Cornell University Press. Kathy is also the editor of Imagining a Medieval English Nation (University of Minnesota Press, 2004) and Angels on the Edge of the World: Geography, Literature and English Community, 1000–1534 (Cornell University Press, 2006).
