Bozena Pajak, Head of Learning Scientist at Duolingo, will give a public talk on her work on second language acquisition in tech on Thursday, March 26th at 4:00 pm in 315 Phillips Hall, followed by a roundtable discussion with the DeLTA Center at 9:00 am on Friday, March 27 in 101 Spence Labs. All are welcome at both events.
She will also conduct a Q&A about her work at the intersection of second language acquisition, experimental linguistics, and the tech industry with interested graduate students on Friday, March 27 at 12:30 p.m. in 612 Phillips Hall. Dr. Pajak has a PhD in linguistics from the University of California, San Diego and has published extensively in top-ranking linguistics journals.
