Katherine F. Montgomery is a fourth-year doctoral student in the Department of English. She studies Romantic and Victorian British literature, with a particular focus on nationalism, empire, and maritime cultures. Her interests in the digital humanities include textual analysis and crowdsourcing work on digital archives. She grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin, and received a B.A. from Williams College in 2007. Melody Dworak is a writer, editor, University of Iowa's School of Library & Information Science graduate, and a 2011-12 HASTAC Scholar (Humanities, Arts, Sciences, and Technology Advanced Collaboratory). Her areas of focus involve building knowledge through digital means, which includes online architectures such as archives, institutional or self-publishing systems, and database interfaces.
