On Tuesday, October 6 (3–4 pm), Walter Biggins, editor-in-chief of the University of Pennsylvania Press, will offer his perspective—as both a longtime acquiring editor and as a writer—on how the advent (if that's what indeed it is) of AI affects the present and possible futures of scholarly publishing.
The lecture will take place in the Obermann Center library (111 Church St., Iowa City). Please note that parking is not available at the Center.
