Biography
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science, studying American politics and gender. My research aims to explain gender differences in behavior by linking gendered expectations to behavior. Specifically, I investigate how gender ideology, or the belief in separate spheres for men and women, moderates the relationship between gender and political behavior. When I am not doing research, I like to go hiking, cook, try new restaurants with my boyfriend, and spend time with my tuxedo cat, Tip.
